Which model to buy? Model #1 or #2?

Hi,

Please help me. Same price but specs differ some. The G50-70 model has a separate graphics card. Laptop will be used to do some school work and to play Mincraft (important).

The graphics card in the first model isn't very fast, and is barely faster than the intel HD in the second one. Model 2 has probably got slightly better battery life, due to its broadwell CPU.
Model 1: better gaming
Model 2: better battery life

Depending on whether your school has many power outlets available for you to use, I would lean towards model 1. However, it's your choice.
