Which of these laptops is better?

I am failing to see a huge difference between these two laptops

One is an A-series, the other is an E-series.

A-series:

- The A-series comes with DDR4 memory while the E-series uses DDR3L.
- The E-series can be expanded to 16GBs of RAM while the A-series seems to be capped at 8GBs.
- The A-series weighs 4.85lbs and uses a 4-cell battery that should run for 7 hours.
- The E-series weighs 5.27lbs and uses a 6-cell battery that should run for 'up to 15 hours' (data found on Amazon).

What I don't understand is why the E-series retails for $600 while the A-series is available for $586. I would imagine the A-series to be the slightly more desirable option. But maybe $14 is simply the difference between an A-series and an E-series, and that's it.

They are both sold by Amazon so you should be OK whichever you choose.
