So, i'll buy a notebook soon, and the two best options that are affordable are these two notebooks:

Samsung Expert x51
Intel core i7 7500U
8GB RAM
GeForce 940MX 2GB

Dell Inspiron 7560
Intel core i5 7200U
8GB RAM
GeForce 940MX 4GB

I use my notebook for game development and to play games also. The i7 is so much better than the i5 to make me go for the 2GB gpu instead of the 4GB?

I would stay with the i5 and have the 4gb version of the gpu. It also depends if your game development is more cpu hungry or gpu hungry.
