I'm being offered the following 3 used laptops (my budget is around 600-700€, living in Greece):

1) Asus ROG GL552VW-CN335T (Intel Core i7 6700HQ 2.6 GHz, RAM: 16 GB, GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M 4GB, 128GB SSD/ 1TB HDD, IPS Panel 15,6" | Excellent condition with 1 year warranty left. Price tag: 790€)

2) Lenovo Y50-70 (i7 - 4710HQ 2,50 GHz, 8GB DDR3 1600MHz, Nvidia GeForce GTX 860Μ 4GB, 1TB H-HDD, IPS Panel 15,6" UHD | Like new condition. Price tag: 590€)

3) Clevo P-170em (i7 4700MQ 2,40 GHz, 2x4 GB Kingston HyperX Fury Black 1600mhz, Gpu Nvidia GeForce GTX 780m 4GB, SSD Crucial MX100 250GB, HDD Toshiba 600gb 7200rpm, 17.3" FHD Led Glossy | 2 years-old but in nearly perfect condition. Price tag: 650€)

Suggestions? :)

EDIT: I'll mostly be using it for gaming (overwatch, pubg and some witcher 3) and soft photo editing.

Solution
3rd choice is the obvious winner here mainly due to the gtx 780m itself.it can still handle new games nowadays much better than the 860m/960m.so go for the 3rd one.not to mention the cpu can be upgraded as well and if the gpu uses an mxm slot u can also switch out the gpu.

Thanks for the answer!

That's what I also thought. However, do you think that the weight, since it's 17", will be a hindrance as I'm not going to be carrying it around?

I say 17 inch is still not that heavy if u decided to carry it around.heck i carry around 17/18 inch notebook everyday.with a decent backpack u wont even feel the weight.

I see. Well I don't see any reason so as to opt for the ASUS then (I ruled out Lenovo in the end). I'll probably go for the Clevo and if needed I'll add another RAM. Thank you for the help :)

no problem mate.to be honest i have both of the asus and lenovo and i can recommend them if u are looking to buy gaming notebook on a budget.but u cant turn your head away when here is a 780m going for just a few more bucks =p

Actually, the ASUS one is the most expensive. I guess due to the euro to usd conversion you couldn't tell. But approximately the ASUS one is 930$, whereas the Clevo (780m one) costs 750$ :p

the asus is probably much expensive due to it using a newer cpu and ram.but performance difference between the laptop 4th gen cpu and 6th gen is minimal to none.maybe less tdp on the 6th gen.

So, to sum it up. If everything goes well with the Clevo, I should pick that one. If something goes wrong with the deal, should I go for the ASUS or the Lenovo?

just incase the asus should be your 2nd choice as it have ssd + hdd combo.the lenovo is great but the 5400rpm drive really drives me nuts at times.unless u want to spend some cash to swap it out for a 2,5 inch ssd(u can use the 1tb drive as an external drive).
