HP Envy 6 15.6" i5-3317U/6GB/HD7670/500GB+32GB SSD W7HP = 630€

OR

ASUS N76VM 17.3"FHD/I5-3210/GT630/6/750/BR/W7HP = 799€

is the asus worth 150€ extra?

I'd be happy with just the HP Envy. If you can check on top laptop reviews, it's #1 on the list on some.

However if you'd like a bigger screen then you will have to go with the extra 150.

probably going for the asus but just pointing that the envy 6 review that you linked is weaker than what i posted :)

i5-3317U > i5 2467M

6 Gb ram > RAM 4GB

500 gb + 32 ssd > 500 gb

HD 7670 2GB > hd 4000

asus price is 799€ original 999€
hp envy 6 630€ original 700-1000€ ( depending on sites and models )

Have you tried searching for their prices online? I'm really suspicious of Sales so I do a lot of research first. Since you're getting more on ASUS for 150, then it's a great catch.

In the end, it will still be your call though.

Whichever you decide to go with it will be good. Those are great specs.

Cheers!

Good job on searching for the prices. Now you see where I'm coming from being suspicious on sales.

It's better if you search on their regular prices first so that you can be the judge if you are really getting a good deal.

Also, make sure the website you're buying from is legit. If priced too low, or too high, that should tick off your alarm.

If it's too cheap that's too good to be true unless it is refurbished. Always check the details.
