Which processor+Graphics card is better for gaming, 3D design, multitasking, movies?

Is the 4th generation Intel® Core™ i7-4710HQ Quad Core Processor + Intel® HD Graphics 4600 better or
4th generation Intel® Core™ i7-4510U Dual Core Processor + 2GB/4GB NVIDIA GeForce 840M Graphics

This all depends on the ram you are getting because the 4600 is integrated graphics the depends on the ram. That means faster ram means better graphics

I think though on balance the 840m would be better because it is a separate graphics card whereas the other option is integrated graphics.
