Which processor is better for gaming? Will these laptops handle the games?

Hello, I am on a budget hunt for a decent and cheap gaming laptop and have stumbled upon two possible contenders. They're very close it seems to me, I just need someone tell me which one is worth the price

1: http://amzn.to/1p6Gpt0
2: http://amzn.to/UDbJXd

The only difference between these two are the PRICE and the PROCESSOR. I've heard the 1st's processor is not nearly as strong as the seconds, but is it worth the price difference?

#1's Stats
> Name: Acer Aspire E5-471G-527B
> $599.99
> Intel Core i5-4210U 1.7 GHz Processor - CAN BE Overclocked (Turbo Boost) @ 2.7GHz
> 8GB DDR3
> 500GB HDD
> NVIDIA GT820M
> 14-Inch Scren

#2's Stats
> Name: MSI CX61 2PC-499US
> $689.59
> Intel Core i5-4200M 2.5 GHz Processor - CAN BE Overclocked (Turbo Boost) @ 3.1GHz
> 8GB DDR3
> 500GB HDD
> NVIDIA GT820M
> 15.6-Inch Scren

Can these two play games on medium settings on Minecraft, and medium (decent) settings on games like DayZ, Rust, Skyrim?

In addition, is the i5-4200M's 3.1 really defeating the 2.7 on the i5-4210U? Turning on turbo-boost will affect gameplay, correct? How much does GHz affect gameplay? And, is dual core fine?

Thanks, please answer all of the questions!

Interesting, is the 820M bad? I've heard it isn't the best, what are some more recommended ones?

for $700 you're going to be hard pressed to find anything with decent specs that can run say skyrim at high settings at 720p.
benchmarks for the 820M can be found here: http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-820M.108477.0.html

If I were you, I'd save up a bit more, and get this: http://www.amazon.com/Acer-Aspire-V3-772G-5413-17-3-Inch-Sophisticated/dp/B00K2O4S0W/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1402824277&sr=1-1&keywords=laptop
yeah its $120 more, but the performance job is MASSIVE. Benchmarks can be found here: http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-850M.107795.0.html

However, if you don't want to wait, and just want to pre-order now then the best bet is this: http://www.amazon.com/Acer-Aspire-V3-572G-587W-15-6-Inch-Platinum/dp/B00K81O3PY/ref=sr_1_4?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1402824339&sr=1-4&keywords=laptop
its still a massive step up from the 820M, benchmarks can be found here:http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-840M.105681.0.html

to put things in perspective: the 840M, will run skyrim at high settings at 720p with 30fps
the 850M can potentially run skyrim at high - max at 1080p with 30fps
so the $120 is well worth it IMO.

hey :)
If you are trying to have a gaming laptop that will last awhile, in graphics terms, I'd suggest getting a better laptop as dasulman has mentioned.

The best one I know of near $800 is this one: Lenovo IdeaPad Y510p
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834313742

The 755m in SLI will perform about as good as a 770m
http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GT-755M-SLI.106493.0.html

770m laptops at newegg start at $1,300
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100025325%20600489184%20600440387&IsNodeId=1&bop=And&Order=PRICE&PageSize=20

Here is a topic about some GPUs you are considering and how they perform in benchmarks.
http://www.gaminglaptopsjunky.com/gtx-860m-vs-gtx-770m-vs-gt-755-sli-midrange-gaming-shifted/

The 860m starts at about $1,000 on newegg
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100025325%20600489184%20600487990&IsNodeId=1&Order=PRICE&Pagesize=20
Lenovo Y50 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834317539

You may be able to do some price checking and find cheaper 860m laptops. Amazon prices fluctuate a lot in my experience, which can be good and bad for purchasing. :)

Thanks jeraldo and dasulman, I'm going to most likely get the one you linked (dasulman); the one with the 840m, it seems good. However, the one that has the $799.99 pricetag has the 850M, that being said, do you know of any laptops that have the 850M but maybe a lower screen size (since that is also increasing the price)? I'm assuming the $200 price jump for the $599 to $799 is not solely the processor, or is it?

And one last thing, is the $599's Intel Core i5-4210U 1.7 GHz (2.7 boost) much worse than the $799's Intel Core i5-4210M 2.6 GHz (3.2 boost)?
