Which TV Antenna for Semi-Rural Northeast/East Texas?

I want to dump SuddenLink cable & use their old cabling for 4/5 TV’s.

One potential problem is a 2 story brick house w/ a big tree on the same side as the cabling.

I’m hoping someone in here has already done this?

I don’t know if a DIY Stealth Hawk, Bowtie or commercial antenna would be a better choice?

I would like to receive UHF/VHF/HDTV & FM would be a plus.

I already know enough to avoid the 150 mile junk antennas.

I would like to watch some PBS Artists shows from Shreveport that Dallas PBS does not have; if possible.

I am Located 6 miles west of Longview, TX
I am Located 30 miles Northeast of Tyler, TX
I am Located 105 miles East of Dallas, TX
I am Located 77 miles West of Shreveport, Louisiana

Go to this site and input your location: http://www.antennaweb.org/

Then you will know which city has what channels, what direction is best to aim your antenna, and what range of antenna you need.
Then you can research a good antenna for the "color" zone you need.

Most antennas will allow for a little bit of obstacles, but it certainly wont get good signal pointed right at your neighbors second story.
If that is the direction you have to point it then it would best to mount an antenna pole to the eve of your house.

I have all ready been to antennaweb.org. Not all antennas works as advertised.

I forgot to add some high winds & hail at times.

I have seen some good reviews from the RCA Yagi Antenna; but I may need to stack two or more of them?

Presently I don't know enough about "antenna signal boosters"; but from what I can tell I may need one? I don't want to damage my TV's and vcr, dvr, dvd recorders.
