Which tv model is better? Philips or Sharp?

Sharp, Philips have a horrible reputation for reliability, even though their screens are always praised as very good in reviews.

I thought the OP only looking for philips or sharp, and vizio not the good brand either.

Hisense is the sharp in US
A friend tried Hisense and it was not good, vizio is good budget choice if samsung is way beyond budget.

Thanks, I wasnt aware they were doing this is the US.

Reading to the bottom of the article, it would seem HiSense were pushing cheap screens using the Sharp name, I am wondering if they were keeping their better screens under their own label, because HiSense is HUGE in China, and the screens I have experienced there have been very good, and the screens they sell in the UK generally have a good reputation - going by feedback on UK consumer websites.

Either way, I doubt reliability would be worse than Philips.
