Why all speaker not working but still can play the dvd

My set theater speaker player can play the dvd but all the speaker have no sound., what the problem?

Is audio muted?

All connectors still in place? Disconnect and reconnect all

Do other DVDs play fine?

Is the correct audio setting chosen from the menu of the DVD and the player?
