Why cant i load facebook on my pc?

Hello,
I've lost Faebook on my computer, although I can still access everything else. This has only happened since Tuesday, when I try to load it , it comes up with a HTTP 500 internal server error suggesting there is a fault with their server connection however I know that all my friends can access it without any problems. The only thing I can think of that may have upset it is I installed updates that my PC has been requesting to install for many weeks and perhaps these have upset it. But if this is the case why only FAcebook and how do I solve the problem?
