Why do I have - antenna & cable Jack's on my tv

Two cable Jack's one says ant , other one says cable

You have a pretty old TV. Separate tuners for cable and antenna disappeared many years ago. The reason there were two inputs is that cable and over-the-air used different frequency ranges. For some manufacturers it was cheaper to put a second tuner in the cabinet than to design a tuner that worked for both frequency ranges.

sounds like that's an old TV from the 80's or 90's.
