Hello,
I'm not real techy but I was able to get my acer pc connected to my new vizio hdtv so I could watch net flix. The lady from Radio Shack said it was called VGI(?) cable. I also had to buy an audio cord so I could get sound. It worked earlier today but now it jus says "no signal detected". Why?

why dont you connect your pc to the tv via hdmi?

what ports does your video card have?

most newer cards have dvi and/or hdmi. rather old cards had vga as well.

the best way to connect is via a hdmi-hdmi cable or dvi-hdmi cable depending on what you have. i would only use vga if this is all your graphics card has as an output.

i personally only have dvi ports so use a dvi to hdmi cable which connects up to my receiver.

once you get an image, if it doesnt stretch to your tv you may need to go into your ati or nvidia settings and change overscan/underscan to zero.
