Hi everyone,

I recently bought a laptop and performed multiple stress tests on it. It was stable and thermal issues were no worries, until I ran the tests with the laptop plugged into the power supply.
It went from maxing 70s to hitting 100.

Specs:
i7-8750h
RTX 2060
16GB RAM

Can someone, please please please, explain to me why this happens?

Actually, I didn't ask about the battery, it was the charger.

If it is brand new and giving you problems, return it and have them give you another one. No new device should give you any problems.
True, they're different things hey.
Going to get some second opinions, but it seems likely that I'll be returning it...
Thanks for your help!

If the machine is out of box then battery and power supply sometimes misbehaves in the beginning you need to drain the battery 3-4 times and then test. Hope it will resolve the heating issue.
