The best sounding laptops I've owned:
#3 Alienware 15, 7-8 pounds!
#2 Dell XPS 15, L502x (and L501x), 6-7 pounds
#1 Dell XPS 14, L501x, 5 pounds, the best
The XPS 14 I owned had a 1st generation i5 processor and JBL sound with just 2 speakers. These speakers sounded even better than the similar L501x and L502x with JBL 2 speakers plus subwoofer (though did not have quite as much bass). I'm surprised the Alienware 15 (last and did not have better sound than these two older computers.
My 12.9" ipad sounds better than any other computers I've owned (including the latest, the newest XPS 15 with 2 tiny, tinny speakers) Maybe as good as the Alienware. With the latest speaker technology, it would definitely be possible to make good sounding laptops. Why don't more manufacturers do this?
anybody compared these with other good sounding laptops?
