Agreed.. I wish they would just let you add the "assistant" to hangouts. I really wanted to like Allo and tried and tried to use it but ran into one problem after another. Back to hangouts I go.. which it still pisses me off that they haven't fully integrated Google Voice into Hangouts. Or at least the GV History when used with Hangouts is still broken. Such a shame.. such potential!

Allo supports GIFs... The difference is iMessage has GIFs built into the app whereas Allo requires you to either have a GIF keyboard such as Fleksy or share a GIF from a separate app. Just wanted to clear that up. Thanks for the review.
