So about six months ago my 3yr old smashed the screen on my 55 inch Samsung TV. We went and bought a 50 inch Samsung mu6300 4k TV to replace it. And we watched some 4k on prime video and it looks great. Well a few days ago I went and bought a new TV for my man cave at best buy where we bought the other one. They had a 55 inch mu6300 for same price we got the 50 inch For. But the salesman said it doesn't have hdr and it also says it doesn't on their website. And convinced me I need hdr so I bought a 49 inch mu7000 instead. The 4k looks horrible on it. So I called Samsung and come to find out the mu6300 has hdr and he remotely reset my t.v to factory. Looks a little better but nothing like the 6300. Any advice should I just take it back. And get the 6300? From what I read. The only difference is the back lighting.

Ty for your answer. But I tried that calibration before I posted. On regular content the picture is about the same if not a little better on the 7000. But if I play the same 4k show on both televisions you can see a big difference on the 6300. The picture pops and looks amazing. On the 7000 it looks more like a 1080p blueray or something. Nice picture but nothing like the 6300
