Question Why is rca directv on projector looking so bad?

i have native 720p projector and looking so bad when i use rca of directv in my projector (looks like 360p or similar), but when i use hdmi of notebook for youtube or netflix the image quality is great
Why ?

Composite video, the yellow RCA, out of the DTV box doesn't support any resolution higher than 480i or 240p. As you have found it looks bad.
Get a DTV box with HDMI output.
