Solved! Why my hd tv screen green?

My Hitachi 61 inch HD TV shows green base color still can see the picture though m but green , why?

The green screen control knob (that pack of six knobs) behind the grill has likely gotten a cruddy spot in it. Switch the inputs until you get to a black screen, turn the green screen control down sloooooowly until it just goes from green to black.
