Question Why won't my Asus UX305F notebook turn completely off?

The power button and the caps lock are both lit up after I turned the notebook off. I tried to press the power button but the lights on both buttons are still on.

did you use windows to shut off? or using the power button?

I used Windows to shut off first. When the power light and caps lock continued to stay lit, I used the power button for a long press. That didn't work because the power light and caps lock light stayed on.
