Why would my Onkyo TX-SR705 turn off when volume is turned to medium or above?

When I turn the volume above -10, the receiver shuts off. Might anyone tell me why and how to repair this problem?

Solution
The receiver is going into protection due to either a heat issue or one of the speakers or the speaker wiring has a problem. It could also be that the receiver is not powerful enough or not stable enough for the speakers you are using.
Try disconnecting one speaker at a time to determine if one of them is the issue.

power issue? its an overpower like its tripping drawing too much power when you turn it up so its shutting off to keep it from being damaged or it could be a heat thing. Thats what I would think.
