There is a Problem with my sisters laptop HP 15-r212na
She tried to download a book online and this issue came along.
It runs Windows 8.1
The laptop is connected to the internet but the yellow triangle is present and says Limited.
When i try to troubleshoot, "An error occurred while troubleshooting" pops up and below it "A problem is preventing the troubleshooter from starting".
There is no restore point before the issue.
Doesn't work with the Ethernet cable either while the internet works on every other device so can't be a router issue.
Also, in network and sharing center, it says UNKNOWN and under it, "The dependency service or group failed to start".
In Device Manager, there doesn't seem to be a problem with the Network Adapters.
Any help would be really appreciated.

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help in solving the issue.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the wireless adapter.
- Once uninstalled, download and install the latest driver from HP support site.
- Here's the link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-15-Notebook-PC-series/7486447/model/7633567
- Once installed reboot your laptop for all the changes to take effect.
- After the reboot try connecting into your wireless network again and see if it would work or not.
