Wi-Fi direct solution

Hi I have a Samsung galaxy s6 I use a vpn to see Netflix usa, can I stream to TV using Wi-Fi direct at the same time. I can get them to connect to each other I can see the phone on the TV and the TV on the phone they are connected, but I can't get them to transfer anything. I tried alot off apps and quick connection on the phone. TV is a LG 50pm680t from 2012. if it can't be done please tell me another solution to stream from the phone to the TV. I would say in advance many thanks for your help.

chromecast, miracast, and ble are your only options i believe. There is no native way to get video out of an S6. While we could accomplish a few things using your network - casting a streaming service is not one of them.

I tried Chromecast and Miracast did not work they are using local Wi-Fi so I need a solution that is not using local Wi-Fi.
Can I use the phone To remote control the PC and the PC stream to the TV.
