wifes laptop hard drive wipe out, now says PXE-E51 no boot file record and PXE-M0F no bot filename received. Also says no operation system found, I change boot menu to start from cd drive and that doesn't work. Don't know what happen here. I'm not a novice on computers, please advise.

Solution
First is to check the bios if the new hard drive is properly detected

Reatart, while bootup repeatedly press f8 to choose boot device

Check if windows installation will proceed

Else, post back

Thats a disk failure or rather the hard drive died

In lehmann's term, offer your wife some wine then tell her all her files are gone.

Also, you probably need to send the laptop to a computer technician
