wifi wont connect

I just bought a new toshiba laptop n it won't connect to the wifi but it will connect to the Ethernet. Im so confused as to why because my other laptop connect without problem help me please

Welcome to the site Kayla. Firstly can you tell me what version of Windows you are using, and also the exact model of the laptop.

Also can you find any networks when you go into wifi connections? or does nothing show up at all?
