Will a 7mm SSD fit in Asus g75VX? (Without retenchment bracket)

Hi everyone!

Basically, the title says it all.
I know it will fit, but I'm going to buy an Asus G75vx soon and where I live, they dont sell retention brackets, so will a 7mm drive fit without retenchment bracket?
I can screw in the SSD in the hard drive bay of the Asus G75vx and there shouldn't be a problem, but I jsut want to make sure 100% before buying my SSD (Corsair neutron GTX 120gb)

Yeah, if you're just replacing the primary drive then it's just a standard 2.5" bay. Enjoy!

So could I please ask, the manual says there is a second drive bay, will a 7mm SSD fit without any mounting brackets? sorry, new to this

If I'm not mistaken, Asus' design requires that you have the mounting bracket/cage. The drive will "fit" without it, but you will not be able to secure it without the cage.
