Will a roku stick work in an hdmi port that is marked "stb" or do I have to use the one marked "dvi?"

I need to know the answer to this question before I purchase a roku stick, because my OTA dvr only works in the dvi port, which is hdmi-2. The stb port is hdmi-1.

To me HDMI is HDMI, I wasn't aware there are different types of HDMI but oh well, live and learn.

Instead of me trying to guess what you have, what they can do, why not tell us exact make/model or what you have, maybe some of us have the time to look up the manuals for you and get the exact answer.
