Solved! Will ddr3 ram work with a ddr4 motherboard

I have 8gb ddr4 ram installed on my motherboard right now but i want to upgrade to either 16 or 32 gb of ddr3 memory. Ive heard ddr3 dosent work on ddr4 motherboards. My motherboard is a msi b250 pro vd

No, you can't use DDR3 on a board that has DDR4 memory slots only. They won't fit and won't work.

No, this is because DDR4 uses 288 pins and DDR3 uses 240 so it will not work.
