Will my build bottleneck a gtx 1070?

Hey all, as the title suggests, I'm wondering if and how much my pc will bottleneck a new gtx 1070.

Current build
GPU - GTX 770
MB - MSI z87 g45
CPU i5 4670k (3.4 stock)
Ram - Corsair 8 gb
120 gb ssd

I have roughly a grand to upgrade with and I want to do this before Mass Effect Andromeda is out . .so this could go two ways.

First way: I upgrade to a gtx 1070 and add 8 more gb of ram to my current build

Second way: I succumb to my purist urges and buy a new build to stick my current gtx 770 in. The new build would be an Asus Strix Z270-E gaming, i5 7600k, Corsair bengeance LED 16gb and a corsair cpu fan.

It seems obvious to go for the 1070 and ram upgrade but ngh, those new parts are so shiny. It's so hard. Please help.

PS I'm in New Zealand so 1000 doesn't go far when upgrading a pc.

No, the i5-4670k will not bottleneck the GTX 1070 even at stock speed.

Even the older i5-2600k running at stock speed can get good results with the GTX 1070. Based on some CPU benchmarks I have seen with the GTX 980, GTX 980 SLI, GTX 1070 and GTX 1080 there is only about a 10% - 15% performance difference compared to 6th and 7th generation Intel CPUs. But that varies by the game; some games have less than a 10% performance difference.

If you had something like an overclocked FX-8350, then yes, you would have a significant bottleneck.
