will not charge

my tablet will not charge, it doesnt even show the charging screen, ive tried wiggling the charge cord around, nothing. how it happened? my parents drained it DRY when they used skype. i never let it get that low. there wasnt even 1% energy in it, how do i know? i turned it on and it showed the battery symbol with a warning triangle, it shut off, i plugged it in....nothing, no charge screen anything.....plz help? i even let it "charge" overnight"

If you try to turn it on again, does it still show that screen? If it does, it seems like there may be an issue with your charger, as it should show acknowledgement of being plugged in and maybe even turn on. Sometimes if you drain a lithium-ion battery too far it will not be able to recover.

What tablet do you have?
