Peace, everyone!
Seems from quick Web search that I can buy, for the price of a PCMCIA Wi-Fi adapter, both a PCMCIA to USB adapter and a USB Wi-Fi "dongle".
The additional USB ports are a plus -- I'm trying to redeem ancient laptops that have no USB nor networking capabilities.
Can you think of reasons why this scheme won't work? Testimonials, experiences with such a setup?
(I still need to find a non-CardBus, ie, PCMCIA 2.0, adapter, for the Armada 4210T. The ThinkPads do accept CardBus, ie, PCMCIA 5.0.)
Thanks!
;o)
