will sims 4 work for my dell computer

my computer is a dell inispron-17 5000 series, and I'm looking to purchase Sims 4; I've never bought Sims before and do not want to waste money. Which Sims would be best for me?

Your RAM and GPU will do the job, but the CPU is scraping it. You should be able to play on minimum settings.

Personally I would get a copy of Sims 3, still a great game and it will run much better on your laptop.
