I have a HP Pavilion 1c51nr, and I want it to be faster for when I do work and the occasional mobile gaming. (After building a gaming desktop my laptop is as slow as a tortoise in comparison) I figured that these parts here: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ROODAY/saved/36iG should be compatible. PCPartpicker couldn't find the requirements, but Crucial's site had compatibility checks for specific models, and I added their recommended RAM as the custom part. I was thinking of swapping my Windows 7 Home Premium from my HP (Preinstalled) onto the SSD in the link by cloning the drive, and reformatting it. (As the laptop came with a traditional HDD) Would this work? I've heard that OEM Windows installations lock to the motherboard, so if I cloned and reformatted it (which I don't know how to do, some instructions would be much appreciated) and put it on the SSD, it should work, right? Also, I want to swap out my disc drive for an OBHD, and put in the Seagate Momentus there. Now, I don't know much about OBHDs, so could someone point me in the right direction for one that would fit my laptop? So to summarize, I would like to know if the parts in the link would work with a HP Pavilion g6 1c51nr, whether cloning and reformatiing the Windows installation from my HDD onto the SSD would work (and how to clone it), whether the RAM will work, and what type of OBHD will fit. I know that's a lot to ask, but even just answering a part will be a great help. Thanks in advance!

1) They will be compatible.

2) I will recommend to do the reinstall win7 because the HDD inside the laptop is like 640GB, and you may have a lot of stuffs that you don't want to move to the SSD. Here is How to Clean Reinstall a Factory OEM Windows 7. And you need download all the divers like network, audio, video, AMD chipset driver, etc. before you start to do it.
