Its an Asus G2SG-A1.

It was from 2008 but is it still a good laptop?

T9300 Duo 2 core CPU 2.5GHz
4 gigs of ram
300 gig HD 5400
nvidia graphics 2 an amazing 1920x1200 17" screen

Its really cheap and all I play is FSX. Do you think it will play it well?

It also comes with a gaming mouse and backpack.

If I can, I'll upgrade the RAM

FSX is a more demanding game than the minimum requirements would have you believe. It really needs a highly clocked quad core CPU to run well. I think that laptop will play it but I would not expect it to run great with a dual core CPU and integrated graphics.
Did you read the review above?
In that model with 1440x900 resolution and the 8700M GT ran hot, noisy and the reviewers said about it: "The G2SG is thus an average gaming notebook, which can run current games, but only with reduced detail levels."
It listed a couple other games and some did OK, mostly the FPS types. Of the games listed the one most like FSX is the RPG Supreme Commander which is also heavily CPU dependent

I just got an i7 based laptop that only has the intel graphics 3000. It runs MSFS X at the highest settings fine. it also does my HD Video editing great. I can still return this and get one that also has the Radeon 6770M for $275 more. This is the only game I ever play. My question is whether the intel graphics hd 3000 alone will be able to handle the new upcoming version "Microsoft Flight"?
