I'm thinking about picking up this laptop.

I agree with antishill in that it will run just fine on the Vive. The GPU in there is the 1070 but the rec. requirements ask for a 1080. That means your laptop will easily handle the game but you might not be able to increase all game settings to there maximum such as setting SS to 2.5. https/www.reddit.com/r/Vive/comments/7jh9ih/fallout_4_vr_master_tweakfix_thread/ might be helpful.
