Win 10 Asus Xonar no surround on browsers

Just bought the Asus Xonar DG 5.1 I'm loving it for gaming, works perfect. But for some reason no browser will play out of my back two speakers. Previously I used Firefox to watch tv and Netflix for surround, but alas, nothing works...except games.

I got a reply about how it might be because of the browser playing in 2 channel mode as the videos may be 2 channel, but I'm using Netflix. My old sound blaster played them in perfect surround sound but now it'll only randomly play any browser in surround. Even The Flash, which is surround won't do it.
