Hello,
Purchased what i thought was a anti-virsus Win 7 on my daughters computer. Google it and it said it was a scam. Now her computer won't even let me get to a web site to clean it up. First question, is it a scam? second question. How do I get rid of it? Thanks!

Yes, it is and try Malwarebytes Anti-Malware in Safe Mode with Networking. You might have to uncheck the Proxy Server boxes in IE Options.

You also may want to cancel whatever credit card you used to buy this and watch your accounts activity closely as they now have your personal info.
