windows 10 freezing after bootup from SSD

I have cloned my HDD to my SSD. Although my SSD was smaller than my HDD the data on the HDD was small enough to fit. Both drives are connected. If I boot from the HDD all is well however, if I boot from the SSD, after about 10 minutes or so the computer freezes and I have to do a hard reset. What could possibly be the cause of the problem. I have checked the SSD for errors and disabled defragging on the drive.

Cloning for me personally isn't a good option. Why didn't you just make fresh install and copy your valuable information from the HDD ?
