Windows 10 sees headset as speakers only

Hi,

My little brother got a new budget headset (around 20€) and I for some reason it sees it as the speakers from the laptop itself, even tho the sound comes out of the headset.
And it uses the mic of the laptop as standard. Soo... I'm just gonna leave those pics here and hope for help

I know its in german but I think you get the idea what's going on.

You need to right click on the headset on playback and set it as the default communication device.
Do the same for recording devices.

No, doesn't work. The button for ''set as default communication device'' is still greyed out. He's using windows 10 btw.

It's really annoying because when I play with him I can literally hear everything from his laptop. even myself talking and its really annoying.
