Windows 10 (TP) desktop showing battery logo with an X

Hi, I am having a problem where my windows 10 TP desktop is showing a battery sign with an X on it at the screen which appears before you log into your account. could this be a glitch or a problem with my CMOS? please help

Remove the battery then put it back in and if that doesn't do the trick. Does it run without mains electrict support and have you left it running for long enough to flatten the battery?

You could also try running a Linux system as a LiveCD so see if that behaves the same way.
