How to recovery the system on acer aspire laptop

Go to Programs, Accessories, System, System Restore. It will show you restore points. Pick one and proceed.

If you have a backup, go to Control Panel, Backup & Restore, and select restore.

Need more info, to restore the laptop from within windows, go to Control Panel and type restore in the top right hand search bar, click the backup and restore icon. Then follow the instructions.

Without more information as to the nature of the problem, all I can help with is that and from boot, before anything comes on the screen, hit the F-keys at the top of the keyboard, usually F-9 - F-11 if I remember right, until you have a restore to factory defaults screen. Then follow the instructions
