I'm having a hard time finding simple, effective backup software. Everything I see either seems to have some cloud tie in or is designed for backing up over a network. I just need a program that can copy everything from one directory on a particular drive to another directory on another drive. (i.e. copy everything from c:\somedir to d:\somedir so that the contents of both directories are identical.)
I'm dealing with a large number of files here, so ideally I'm looking for a program that will check every file in the destination directory (comparing hash values for example) and then only copy or overwrite files that are out of date or missing instead of just copying every single file over every time.
