I am buying a 5.1 audio system. (X-540 or X-530). The X-540 has like a small table thing that controls bass and volume which isn't a big deal for me. It has a MATRIX button. I have a question. There is a MATRIX option in Windows audio. If I turn that on... It will convert Stereo input sound to virtual surround sound. But if the source is 5.1 sound... Will it have any good/bad effects? It's just that the X-530 is HALF price on Amazon and I am buying off that because of shipping reasons. I don't live in the US.
