I have an Ipaq rz1710 which has Windows Media Player 9 installed on it.
Is there any way that I can install WMA 10? The Microsoft Site lists the
mobile version of 10 but says that it cannot be updated from 9 except
for a couple of units they specify. I thoght that someone might have
found a way to do it. Any suggestions?

Hi

You will have to wait for HP to release a new ROM version where WMP 10 is
included, there is no way you can do it yourself

Thanks, I hope they do it soon, Is that likely? I wanted to put a
slideshow I made using PhotoStory 3 on my Ipaq. When you have finished
the story you can save it in a form that is suitable for use on a PPC!

Now, i have not tryed Photosory 3 so im not quite sure but i understood that
photostory 3 saves the photostory as a wmv file that can be used in you wmp
9 on your device.

what you will get more from WMP 10 is, automatic syncroniztion of your
phottostories.

PhotoStory 3 says that Windows Media Player 10 is required, perhaps you
only loose some of the functionality.
