Windows xp pro does not recognize my internal speakers on my laptop

i installed windows xp pro on my laptop it was running vista but it's sh*t and now my internal speakers don't work and nether does the jack port what can i do?? please e-mail me at tragicmist@hotmail.co.uk thanks
