WIRELESS COMPUTER CHAT ROOM

Hello,

My Laptop wont connect to my wireless router. It see the signal, but wont connect. I ran a troubleshooting routine under Windows network Diagnostics, and it says my Wireless Network Connection doesn't have a valid IP configuration...any thoughts?

Do you have the wireless card setup for DHCP or static ip? Does your wireless router give out DHCP ip's?

I'm not sure...how do I know?

I do know that my wireless router works fine with all the other wireless devices in the house.

It looks like its set up as DHCP enabled (under advanced TCP/IP Settings)

Are both of your devices setup for DHCP? The router has to give out ip's and from your response it looks like your card is setup for DHCP.
