Hello,
My wireless adapter isn't working. I've got a dual boot of Linux (Pinguy) and the wireless works fine - detected by Additional Downloads. So much for Linux not having driver support!

Anyway, I am currently using Windows 7 x64 Ultimate on my laptop. When I check the Device Manager it states it can't find a driver for "Network Controller". I went to look at the PCI Hardware IDs but I still can't really find anything. I have also checked the acer website for driver downloads - NONE of them work...

Hardware ID's

PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4358&SUBSYS_E040105B&REV_00

PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4358&SUBSYS_E040105B

PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4358&CC_028000

PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4358&CC_0280

If anyone could please help me with this, then please do try. This shouldn't be so difficult...

You have the Broadcom 802.11n WLAN module, did you try the Broadcom drivers, version 5.100.235.19.

I actually managed to fix this. I booted up on my linux partition, saved a system information document at a .html and looked through until I found my wireless driver, got everything I needed and did a quick google search. Managed to find a lenovo driver which worked!

Thank you all though :)

Can you please share the lenovo driver that you found to get it working? I've run into the same problem
