WLAN on Consumer Cellular Nokia C3

Anyone know how to turn this feature on?

all you gots to do is go to settings,
connectivity,
then WLAN.
You can add this as a shortcut on your home screen.
once you press this it will search the area for wlan and then you chose the one and you will be prompted to browse on web and thats it.

Thanks for the reply. The problem is that WLAN is NOT one of the choices for connectivity. Consumer Cellular has inactivated that feature of the phone. I am hoping some clever person has figured out how to turn the feature on, so that I can do exactly as you suggest.

wow i have not heard of companies doing that, well then you may have to see if a dogey person in your area will re-flash your handset with a generic version of software.
If its been disabled via the OS then that would be the only way to turn it on
