[citation][nom]tat2demon[/nom]I don't know. If more people did this I'm sure more people would stop trying to act tough online. I don't know about anyone else but I'm tired of people running their mouths thinking they can say whatever they please with no repercussions. I think a couple loudmouth little twits getting knocked off each week is exactly what the internet needs.[/citation]

Would be a good method to deal with telemarketers as well.

About half the posters in this thread make me embarrassed to be an American. Can you guess which half?

Someday, some great man somewhere is going to invent a method to allow you to punch people in the face over TCP/IP. It will be a wonderful day.

[citation][nom]geofry[/nom]The first rule of an armed society is:1. Do not be a douche bag.Unfortunately nothing will probably happen to the punk kid. He probably didn't deserve to be shot, but it does sound like a public ass whooping would not have been uncalled for.[/citation]

"He probably didn't deserve to be shot"

Probably!?!?!??! No I'm certain he doesn't deserve to be shot. That being said, i'd say this child learned a value lesson. Actions have consequences and there are some crazy people online.

My question is...how in the world did she find out this kid's address? Another valuable lesson for the child perhaps, don't post personal info on the net, especially if you're a troll!

She probably just wanted to put the gun in his mouth and film him crying like a little girl. Then she'd upload the video. I don't belive she actually wanted to shot the kid although it's possible.

lol, based on the pics being posted of her you can totally tell it was someone from /b/. He was probably trolling her. I bet she mad.

As soon as they mentioned Ottumwa, I knew there'd be a ridiculous story in the making. I'll refrain from further comments towards that town or they may show up on my doorstep with guns themselves.

A reminder of how much a part of some people's live's (both personal and public), the Internet has now become. Look at the recent debacle with Obama vs. the abusive email he allegedly received from some British Kid..the kid was hunted down and banned from entering the States (or at least until someone else is in office and decides to offer some form of redress). All because of an email.

I might feel this way sometimes, but it's off of your reacting emotionally like you are right now that little twits thrive.

1) This was not a random event. The woman knew where the "kid" lived somehow. She had his real name and real address. So there has to be more to the story than we are getting here.

2) Even so, anyone who shows up and knocks on my door with a gun and I don't know their face will be dealt swift and lethal force without so much as a word being spoken. And for any bed wetters out there who say that would be unfair, my state is one that has a reasonable threat law when using potentially lethal force for personal and personal property defense.

[citation][nom]pinkfloydminnesota[/nom]Is she married? I want her.[/citation]
Good point. Let her off the hook if she's a hottie!

[citation][nom]TommySch[/nom]Sad thing is she didn't get to shoot the target.[/citation]
