Doesn't the defeat the purpose? How much can you really see on a 4.8" screen, and that's diagonally.
People are stupid for paying those outrageous prices for all that Apple crap!

Apple already claims about their 326ppi display, that "the pixel density is so high that the human eye is unable to distinguish individual pixels".
If Apple is correct, than this is just another pointless race for marketable numbers.
"Mine's better than yours because it's got 100 more ppi."
"Can u actually see the difference"
"No, but more is always better!"

[citation][nom]gekko668[/nom]It is pretty much useless to have such high pixel density on a such a small LCD. I want it on a IPS monitor.[/citation]

One word.

bandwidth

Give me the hardware that can transmit that much pixel information in one go and you will get your super dense 60" LCD.

If they can do this kind of dpi, then why cant they improve the current HDTV's?

1920x1080 had been used for years now.

Tv's should be on at least 4096x2304 since many professional cameras used for the making of the movies can do that resolution.
